Welcome to Solomons Victorian Inn

A Premier Chesapeake Bay Bed and Breakfast

Visit Solomons Victorian Inn and be romanced by the Chesapeake on beautiful Solomons Island. Our historic Bed & Breakfast Inn is situated on the tip of the island with magnificent views of the harbor from every room. In line with the yacht building heritage of the area, you’ll be delighted to see more masts than you can count.

Enjoy the Ultimate Chesapeake Bay Bed and Breakfast Experience

Our philosophy is to keep things simple so that you can relax, wind down and take a break from the routine and stress of everyday life. Take a breath of fresh air! But first, the day starts with a delicious three-course European style breakfast taken in our bright and airy enclosed porch.

Then the island is yours – walking, jogging, boating and biking are all easy from our central location, and the best news is that there are no hills or stormy seas to negotiate. Whatever the season, there is always something to do. For those who like to keep the grey matter active, learn all about the history, culture, economics and geology of the area at our wonderful Calvert Marine Museum and Drum Point Lighthouse, then visit the home of the local oyster industry at J.C Lore Oyster House. Further afield, be inspired by the fusion of art and nature at AnnMarie Gardens, or check out historic Saint Mary’s City, one of the local wineries, or the Sotterley Plantation.

The Little Things Matter at Our Chesapeake Bed and Breakfast

When you return to the Inn you can unwind and enjoy homemade cookies (our signature Scotch shortbread is a guest favorite) with a nice cup of tea or a glass of wine, and sit on the front porch and watch all the activity in the marina. Free bottled water, soft drinks, and tea and coffee are available 24/7.

To wrap up the day, you have the choice of many outstanding restaurants, all within easy walking distance, or a nightcap at the world famous Tiki Bar!
