With the Christmas season just around the corner, Shawn and Steve here at Solomons Victorian Inn feel excited to be part of a great cause that supports children. This year, we are celebrating our inaugural year participating in the Toys for Tots campaign. The campaign is aimed at collecting new toys from donors, distributing them as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community, and inspiring hope for those youngsters who may feel forgotten at Christmas.

 Solomons Victorian Inn is dedicated to community outreach designated to show compassion and love to those less fortunate in our community. We are not only proud to host guests from around the world who come to soak up the relaxing river lifestyle and admire the beautiful sunsets, but we are equally passionate about uplifting members of our community through participating in activities such as Toys for Tots.

To show our commitment and support for Toys for Tots, we are offering a 10% discount to guests of our inn who stay between now and December 5th, 2023, and drop off a new toy! We encourage all guests to bring new toys, and the inn itself serves as a drop-off site for local residents who may also want to contribute. This campaign is our way of giving back to the community and showing how much we care about the children in our area.

We also urge our guests and area residents to consider a monetary donation to the Toys for Tots campaign. In that way, we can help make the holiday season brighter and ensure that every child gets to feel the joy that the holidays bring. Since 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed more than 584 million toys to over 265 million less fortunate children. The campaign has been a symbol of goodwill and happiness throughout the communities that have supported it.

We at Solomons Victorian Inn are passionate about building community spirit and the Toys for Tots campaign is a great example of that. Through our participation, we are hoping to build a legacy of caring and giving back. We believe that a sign of good character is measured by what we do for others.
